Originally from Wales, Richard gained his love of cooking from his mum whilst helping her to make desserts for the family on sundays.
Richards culinary journey has taken him the length and breadth of the country. After training in the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine, Richard took up his first kitchen position working for Gordon Ramsay in his much loved Michelin Starred restaurant in Claridges Hotel.
This was followed by working with some of the finest chefs on British Soil. Richard worked for Joel Robuchon in his eponymous London Restaurant, Michael Caines at The Royal Clarence and finally Lucknam Park working for Executive Chef and Michelin Star holder Hywel Jones.
When he's not cooking at the restaurant, Richard likes to relax by playing golf on the many outstanding courses in Wiltshire.
